First and foremost, I would like to say, I Love Kanye.
I really do. From when I first heard him in "We Are The Champions" with the Roc-A-Fella Dream Team, as their producer, to "College Dropout" to now the newly evolved artistic artist in "808s & Heartbreak." I have 3 out of 4 of his CD's and I love each of them all but I really like this Kanye in "808's & Heartbreak." I love how he likes to incorporate art into his music and his videos. I love how recently he's been giving new directors a chance in his music videos and doing things out of the ordinary. It's really refreshing.. or maybe just refreshing to me. Can you blame me though? I'm a Design Student lol. I think that is why I am totally addicted to Kanye's Blog. He just recently launced a new website for his blog: www.kanyewest.com and I would imagine it being just as great.
Today I got to Kanye's new video, "Coldest Winter" from "808's & Heartbreak." Supposedly this song was written for his mother but I think its for Alexis. Maybe 'Ye will blog about so we'll truly know. This video is directed by Nabil, whom also directed, "Welcome to Heartbreak" & "Paranoid," & "White Lies" by Mr. Hudson (who features in Paranoid. I love his song "Supernova.") Nabil is also a photographer and has done shoots with Kanye. I think these two work well together. I thought this was their first time doing something together but after doing some research I found out that was not case. Nabil did Kanye's shoot for Billboard magazine and shot this picture that Cocoa had as her laptop background awhile back (don't ask how I remember). Enjoy the video =)
This bitch "May" or "Maybelline West" as she "calls" herself said I look like the girl in the video because my hair looks like that right now. Insult much.. ?
